How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs depend on weight.
If you put the products you are interested in in your shopping cart and then click "estimate shipping" you will be forwarded to the shipping calculator.
Choose your country and click the "update"-button to calculate the shipping.

All orders will be shipped via the service you chose offered by Post Japan.

As soon as the paypal money transfer is completed we will process your order. We will provide you with a tracking number if EMS or registered SAL is used. If you access http://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/ems/index_en.html and insert this number you can see where your parcel is at the moment.
Please note that there might be a special fee for very big or heavy parcels.

EMS
The fastest service. Parcel is insured and can be tracked with the provided tracking ID.
Shipping time: 3-10 days (depending on country/location)

Economy Airmail Registered (SAL)

Shipping to Germany, Australia, Denmark, Norway, Hungary, Finland and Poland by SAL:
Those countries do not accept registered SAL anymore. We deliver by registered airmail instead. It is more expensive, but also much faster than SAL.
Insured and registered mail service. The parcel is insured up to 45 ($60). If your order has a higher value we recommend to use the EMS service.
SAL can only be insured to a maximum value of 45 ($60). By choosing SAL you declare that you accept a maximum value of 45 ($60) as refund if the parcel should get lost.
Shipping time: ~3-4 weeks (depending on country/location). Some countries need up to 6 weeks to process SAL.

If you should get the error message Zone Rates (No shipping available to the selected country) after calculating shipping costs, please contact us for detailed shipping information.

If an item should be out of stock, we will contact you. The item is on backorder then and will be shipped as soon as it is available.

Please note that colours of the photos might be different to the real product. It might happen that accidentally a wrong photo is displayed. Reference is always the item's name and number. If there is any misleading photo, please contact us.

Refund Policy for unsuccessful delivery: Refund policy are not applied at any situations including damaged, lost etc. Otherwise, insurance should be applied.
If an order not accepted by the customer, it will be shipped again after the shipping fee is payed again. Shipping fees are not refunded.

Please check the parcel carefully when you receive it. If it is damaged check if the content is damaged, too and claim to the delivery service. Do not accept damaged content. Photos are helpful to prove the wrong handling of the shipping. Check if the content is complete before accepting the parcel.

On Saturdays, Sundays and Japanese national holidays no orders are shipped.

Processing time is usually one to three business days.

The value of the parcel will always be declared with the value of the invoice. We do not declare custom forms with a lowered value.

If you have any special wishes, please let us know by contacting us before you order.

Prices vary because of the change of exchange rates.

Please understand that we have no influence on the postal service of your country.
The customer is responsible for tracking the order. We do not track the order for you. If you think the order is stuck, contact your post office or customs office.
If a parcel got lost, please contact us for insurance. It can take three weeks until Post Japan pays insurance.
If you contact us about insurance after three months or later, no Paypal fees will be refunded.

The customer is responsible for the compliance with law of his order in his country. Please be aware of the laws of importing or buying from overseas. If the parcel should be a long time at customs or a post office in the customer's country, the customer should contact customs or post office and provide them with the tracking number.
We are not responsible for fees or actions taken by customs in your country. By purchasing from R&D Japan you agree to accept full responsibility for items affected by customs in your country. We do not pay the fees incurred or offer refunds on confiscated items.

Return Policy: If it is proved to be factory's default or damage via sending process, please contact us and we will take the appropriate actions to solve the problem. Refund policy is not applied at any situations.
If you cancel an order, paypal fees will no be returned.
